This small Fire Nation island was home to Avatar Roku, as well as a prosperous village. When Roku was not attending to his Avatar duties, he and his wife Ta Min dwelt peacefully in a modest cottage here. A volcanic eruption buried the island in deep ash. Roku and his dragon, Fang, lost their lives battling the volcanic eruption. The island has since remained barren and lifeless.
