A small fishing village located on the Jang Hui River and situated in one of the outer islands of the Fire Nation. It is home of the Painted Lady. Known for her gentleness and healing abilities, she is a powerful and benevolent spirit who watches over the river town. As is the case with many other spirits, only spiritually enlightened people can see the Painted Lady.

Shu Jing is a town situated on a cliff above a river and waterfalls, and surrounded by beautiful mountains. This is one of the many small villages tucked away throughout the Fire Nation islands.

This small Fire Nation island was home to Avatar Roku, as well as a prosperous village. When Roku was not attending to his Avatar duties, he and his wife Ta Min dwelt peacefully in a modest cottage here. A volcanic eruption buried the island in deep ash. Roku and his dragon, Fang, lost their lives battling the volcanic eruption. The island has since remained barren and lifeless.
